Clark’s mom (Mira Sorvino) is in recovery for remedy pill enslavement. (“In fact, your mom’s not a fiend. She has a ‘dependency,'”, says Clark’s frail stoner father, played by Greg Germann). Clark really likes a schoolmate named Etta (Kara Hayward), and when she repels his advances, he reacts by dropping her as a companion by means of horrendous deigning email, and afterward spreading bits of gossip around school that she battles with sadness. Clark can’t stand his dad, whom he treats with derisive prevalence. Clark chooses to stop his own terrible family and turn out to be a piece of another.
Smashing in the home of companion Natalia (Morgan Turner), he worms his way into the family’s schedules and, in an especially grim scene, into Natalia’s bed. Saffron Burrows and Scott Lawrence play the guardians who welcome Clark into their home without once calling Clark’s father to check whether it’s alright.
