Equals stars Kirstin Stewart and Nicholas Hoult, who play two individuals from a future society where feelings are unlawful and everything except destroyed through science. Taking after an unexplained “Awesome War,” a little gathering called The Collective has risen. Generally, this envisioned world is a bland mashup of science fiction works of art like The Giver, Brave New World and THX 1138, where humankind is assuaged by screens and a fixation on space travel.
Space investigation as a diversion from societal issues is one of only a handful few fascinating thoughts exhibited in Equals. We have a tendency to trust that space is humankind’s future and conceivably the way to comprehension the universe, yet is it worth the expense or would it be advisable for us to be more centered around issues here on Earth? I’m not certain that is an inquiry this motion picture deliberately asks, yet it’s still one worth considering.
