In talking with EW, Lasseter uncovered that the shadow of Doc Hudson will pose a potential threat in the following Cars motion picture: “Lightning McQueen, he’s magnificent. We are very brave new characters, some incredible dashing in it. It’s an extremely enthusiastic story. It’s a tiny bit more likened to Cars 1, where you get into a profound feeling with him. It’s truly an exceptional story. It’s exceptionally enthusiastic and his association with Doc Hudson, and his memory of Doc Hudson.”
Cars 3 is, to be honest, the most exceedingly bad film to leave Pixar hitherto, so for Lasseter to note that the tone will be more in accordance with the principal motion picture feels like a touch of consolation.
